All ticket sales are final, with no refunds or cancellations.

 

GAC and GameAcon follow all federal, state & local health mandates/guidelines and refunds will not be issued if you choose not to follow these mandates/guidelines. If you have a question please reach out to info@gameacon.com.

 

Tickets are subject to a service Event Bright and applicable taxes added at checkout. Fees and taxes are are not included in the ticket price and are added at check out.

Costume Props Policy

For the safety of all attendees no props that could be used as a weapon or simulated firearms

of any kind are allowed at the Palm Springs Convention Center

• Costume swords must not be made of material that could be used as a weapon and must be

tied to your costume in such a way that they cannot be drawn

• All costume props must be inspected before entering.

 

What are Gameacon's hours?

The Gameacon Floor is open to the public from 9am - 7pm Saturday, June 22 and from 9am - 6pm Sunday, June 23.

Are children allowed at Gameacon?

Yes! Gameacon is a family friendly event for the entire video game community despite our casino venue.  

Things to keep in mind: 

1. Gameacon requires that minors under 16 be accompanied by an adult.  

2. Maximum 4 children can be accompanied by a single adult.  If you want to bring more than 4 children with you, find another adult to go with you.

3. There will cosplayers present who may be in skimpy attire. Although we ask everyone
to conduct themselves in a family-friendly way, parental discretion is recommended.

Do I have to pay full price for my child?

One child under 10 are free with a paying adult.  Each full-price Gameacon Pass will allow you to bring ONE child under 10 for free.  All tickets, including Child Tickets will be $5 more at the door.

Children 10-18 must pay full price.

Tournament add-on fees must be paid by each individual who plays regardless of age.

Can my minor child play in a esports competition/tournaments?

Yes.  However, tournament add-on fees must be paid by each individual regardless of age.  
Also, children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Maximum 4 children
supervised by a single adult.

How do I enter the tournaments?

Each tournament has different rules.  Please visit the tournament tab in the menu bar and pick the tournament in which you are interested for more information.

Someone took my or my child's picture while I was there.  Can I object?

As a condition of entry, you agree to let your and your child's image be used by the producers for future promotion.

Props must be inspected and approved before entering the event as no functional props or prop weapons are allowed at Gameacon. Here are some basic guidelines to keep in mind.

 

• As stated above, ALL costume props and weapons must be inspected upon entrance

• All costume props and weapons must conform to state and federal law.

• Projectile costume props and weapons must not be able to operate.

• Costume swords must not be metal or have a sharp edge.

• After your costume props have been reviewed, they will be tagged by security to designate that your props have been checked and approved.
